Drink More Water With This Easy To Make Recipe!
In fitting with our newest issue's theme, the team and I thought we would share some of our favorite recipes. Kicking off the month of February, I thought I would share my favorite infused water recipe, Strawberry-Lemon Infused Water.
What you will need
1/2 cup of strawberries sliced
32 oz Mason Jar
How to prepare
Cut a lemon into slices. Place them into the bottom of a mason jar. Next, throw in strawberry slices. Take a wooden spoon and mash the fruits to release their juices. Pour ice on top of the fruit about 3/4 way up. Then fill with water about 3/4 of the way up. When placing the jar in the freezer, do not fill it to the top. It gives the water enough room to expand as it turns to ice. Leave in the freezer for an hour. Drink Up! The infused water lasts about three days.
The Strawberry lemon flavor is one of my absolute favorite flavors. What is your favorite flavor-infused water?
